Despite the easing of Covid-19 restrictions, it is unlikely that live performance will be possible in small, intimate venues like our club room in the Grove for the foreseeable future.
However since the start of the Lockdown the club has been hosting online virtual singers sessions on our Facebook group page, each Friday at our normal club time of 8.30pm. We will continue to host these sessions until live performance can resume safely.
We welcome contributions from anyone who has has an interest in the club. If you want to take part, record your video and submit it to the Folk at the Grove Facebook group 'Folk at the Grove Folk, Leeds'.
Two live-streaming guests have been booked for September as Follows :

04 Sep — Katie Spencer
if you like quality folk guitar playing and singing, all interwoven with thoughtful and clever lyrics, you will love Katie Spencer. Check out her website then listen and watch with us.

25 Sep — Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne
A member of Granny's Attic, Cohen needs little introduction. He was one of our most regular 'regulars' when he was at Leeds University and we are delighted to welcome him back in a live solo special. Expect fantastic melodeon, concertina and song.

The situation is obviously fluid and things may change at anytime. Live Singers Nights may be possible and we may book additional virtual guests. Please keep up to date by visiting our website and/or Facebook pages.
